Ecological trail “Xilifor”

Waterfall “Momin Jump”
Located near the village of Tuja, about 90 km from Veliko Tarnovo, Momin Skok waterfall is one of the most beautiful in the region. With a height of 10 meters, the waterfall is especially impressive in spring, when it is at its most full-flowing. The route to the waterfall is well marked and suitable for a family walk.
Dryanovo Monastery and Cave “Bacho Kiro”
30 km from Veliko Tarnovo is the complex of Dryanovo Monastery and Cave “Bacho Kiro” - a unique combination of cultural and natural heritage:
- Dryanovo Monastery “St. Archangel Michael” - restored after the April Uprising
- Cave “Bacho Kiro” - one of the first well-built caves in Bulgaria

Emmen Canyon and Waterfall
Emen Canyon, located 20 km from Veliko Tarnovo, is one of the most picturesque places in the region. The “Negobanka” eco-trail (3.2 km long) passes through the canyon and leads to the impressive 10-meter waterfall “Momin Skok”. Along the way you will see:
- Steep rock walls up to 90 meters high
- A variety of rock formations and caves

- A crystal clear river with multiple whirlpools
Devetashka Cave
About 60 km from Veliko Tarnovo is the impressive Devetashka Cave - one of the largest in Bulgaria. The cave is famous for its huge entrance and the seven openings in the ceiling, which create unique lighting. It is home to large bat colonies and has been used as a decor in Hollywood movies.
Krushunski waterfalls
Krushunski waterfalls, located 50 km from Veliko Tarnovo, represent a unique cascade of travertine terraces and waterfalls. The well-maintained eco-trail allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls and reach the Maarata Cave, from which the water springs.
